WeMoney turns 1

While we may not be able to throw a huge party (thanks covid) we couldn’t possibly not do something special to commemorate turning one! Nothing brings a smile to our face like seeing all of the awesome stories, tips & tricks you’ve been sharing in the WeMoney community. So we thought, instead of throwing a party and dishing out some birthday cake, let’s reward two lucky WeMoney members with some cash instead to put towards their savings goal or to pay down their debt. 

To celebrate our first-ever birthday, we are offering a cash prize of $100 to our favourite community post. Now, if you’re a little shy and not sure what to post, don’t stress - you’ll get a chance to win too with our most loved comment also earning a cash prize of $100.

To have a chance to win, simply:

1. Create a post within the WeMoney community and/or;
2. Let other WeMoney members know what you think by commenting on their posts.

Terms and Conditions

1. The Competition period is deemed to run from 12:01am September 28th 2021 to 11:59pm October 11th 2021 Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) and may be suspended at any time.
2. In order to be eligible, a user must have downloaded the WeMoney app and have at least connected an account.
3. This competition is open to Australian residents only.
4. The favourite community post prize is valued to a maximum of $100 only and will be paid via PayPal. The best comment prize is valued at $100 and will be paid via PayPal.
5. Any members with commercial partnerships with WeMoney will not be eligible to win the favourite community post prize.
6. This is a game of skill. A winner for each category will be chosen by the WeMoney team.
7. If the prize is not claimed by the winner within 7 days after WeMoney has contacted them the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the runner up.
8. Once the winner is made known, WeMoney will contact the entrant in writing via email address associated with their WeMoney account in order to let them know that they have won. WeMoney will pay the winner via PayPal.
9. The winner will be announced via the WeMoney Community account on Tuesday the 12th of October 2021.
10. The promotion is open to all WeMoney members with the exception of those that have commercial agreements with WeMoney.
