About the Scholarship
To further WeMoney’s mission to empower everyone to live their best financial life, WeMoney will select up to three (3) scholarship recipients with a passion for financial literacy & technology. The recipients will be granted a AU$5,000 scholarship each during a selected academic year. The recipients will also have a lifetime membership and access to a WeMoney Pro account within the app.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
→ Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or holder of a permanent humanitarian visa.
→ Be currently enrolled full‑time or part‑time in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at an Australian university.
→ Present an overall GPA of 3.0/Distinction or evidence of significant community contribution if GPA is lower.
WeMoney is committed to flexibility—applicants who do not meet every criterion but can demonstrate exceptional potential or impact are encouraged to apply.
How to Apply
Submit a 1,000 word essay on any of topics in the application form. Our team will evaluate every submission and get back to you with further information if you have been shortlisted. The winner(s) will be selected based on the relevance, quality and profundity of their essay submission.
