This page shows every rating we receive, including the one star reviews. Handled honestly, criticism tells you more about a company than a wall of five stars.
The app stores hold most of our reviews because WeMoney is an app: that is where members are asked to rate us. Trustpilot is a smaller sample (25 reviews) that skews toward people seeking support. We link all three so you can read everything yourself.
8,299 ratings across the Apple App Store and Google Play combined, averaging 4.5, as at 27 July 2026.
About 1 in 15 members rates us one star. The most common complaints are bank feed sync issues and slow support responses, and they are fair: both are covered below.
Bank connections use the Consumer Data Right (open banking) where available: a government regulated, read only connection. WeMoney cannot move your money and does not store your banking password. For institutions not yet on open banking, connections run through accredited data providers. Details are on our security page.
No. WeMoney reads your report as an Access Seeker, which is a soft check. It is not a credit application, lenders never see it as an enquiry, and it cannot lower your score.
The app is free. WeMoney earns revenue from an optional Pro subscription and from commissions when members choose a product, such as a consolidation loan, through our marketplace. Commissions do not change what you pay a lender, and we show offers whether or not they pay us equally. That model is why the app can be free while reading your accounts costs us money.
