Australia’s leading social financial wellness platform, WeMoney, has announced the winners of the best investing platforms in Australia for 2024.

WeMoney is dedicated to helping Gen Z and Millennials achieve their long-term financial goals, and the Investment Awards celebrate the ‘best of the best’ investing platforms in Australia.

The awards program attracted submissions from well-known investing platforms, including CommSec, Westpac, Betashares, Stake, and others, who battled it out to be recognised as the most competitive products in the market.

WeMoney ran the awards across several distinct categories; celebrating the best overall investing platform, alongside awards for value, customer service and quality.

WeMoney Founder & CEO, Dan Jovevski said, “As the dream of home ownership becomes more unattainable, Gen Z and young Australians are increasingly choosing app-based trading platforms to invest in, and build wealth. However, given the wide array of trading platforms, helping consumers to choose the app or platform that suits their investment profile and strategy has never been more important, and is one of the key reasons we created these awards. Each investor has different needs and goals, which is why we have separate award categories that acknowledge excellence across the whole investment platform market.”

CommSec was recognised by the judges as ‘Investment Platform of the Year’ in the Bank-Owned Category, for balancing fees, quality features, positive user experience, great customer support, and an excellent level of trust. This pinnacle award was also accompanied by an additional award that CommSec won for ‘Best for Casual Investors’.

Richard Burns, Executive General Manager, CommSec, said: “We’re delighted to be recognised by WeMoney as the Investment Platform of the Year. As Australia’s largest online broker, we’re committed to ensuring investing is accessible to more and more Australians. We aim to provide the best customer experience in market with the tools, insights and features to help support customers at every stage of their investment journey. Younger Australians want to take more control of their finances, and they want convenience and flexibility to suit their own goals. We are really proud to help young Aussies on their journey with features such as our market-leading digital offering, through the CommBank app and CommSec Pocket, as well as free tips for beginners through resources such as CommSec Learn and our new CommSec Invest podcast, all of this is aimed to help build confidence amongst new investors.”

As demand from WeMoney members to identify trusted brands continues to grow, there will be a broader set of awards launching throughout the coming months. To learn more about the awards and winners: https://www.wemoney.com.au/wemoney-investment-awards-2024-winners
