WeMoney Community guidelines

The WeMoney Community is a place where you can share knowledge, ideas and indulge in money tricks, hacks and the latest deals.
The following community guidelines are rules that apply to all users and everything shared within the community section of the WeMoney app. These rules are enforced by the WeMoney team.
In order to support a vibrant and safe community, rules apply to all users and all content shared with the WeMoney community. Whilst we consider ourselves as nice people we will enforce high community standards in order to create a safe environment for everyone.

Respect everyone
The WeMoney community is a place for everybody, regardless of gender identity, abilities, ages, skin colours, races, beliefs or sexual orientation. We do not condone bullying, hate speech or threats of violence.

Be authentic
Post your own photos and content that you create. WeMoney does not condone the use of content stolen and reposted without permission or breach of copyright. Impersonation of another person is not allowed.

Respect the privacy of others
Do not share content that reveals or threatens to reveal your personal information or personal information of others including but not limited to: identification documents, home address, email addresses, phone numbers, bank details or passport number or any other government issued document.

Do not post or encourage the sharing of misleading content
Inauthentic, deceptive and misleading accounts have no place in the WeMoney community.

Keep it clean
Do not share or encourage the sharing of sexual acts or nudity.

Do not share or encourage the sharing of violent or graphic content.

Do not actively try to attempt or solicit marketing directly to a WeMoney member of goods and services that are not available within the WeMoney community or endorsed by the WeMoney team.

No spamming
Do not share unsolicited messages, comments or posts.

Be fraud and scam free
Do not post content that schemes to deliberately deceive others for financial gain or otherwise. Do not commit any fraudulent nor criminal activity.

Be conscious of your own privacy
Be sure to black out any personal identifiable or sensitive information (such as full name, addresses & account details) when sharing posts. Take the appropriate steps to protect your identity.

Post within the law
Do not post or facilitate the sharing of illicit content.

Watch your language
Refrain from using profanity and other socially offensive language.

No financial or credit advice
You acknowledge that the WeMoney community does not provide nor credit advice information provided in the WeMoney Community is general in nature and not tailored to your own personal financial situation. You should consider seeking your own independent financial advice that pertains to your own personal financial situation.

Disclosure of Interests
Creators must disclose any financial interests in relation to the content that is being shared in the community.

Speculative Assets
When talking about speculative assets, it is important to also mention the potential risks involved (e.g. Disclaimer: This is not financial advice, do your own research).

Creator Guidelines for Appropriate Behavior
  • Creators must ensure that they adhere to these guidelines to ensure that they are not breaching National Credit Laws.
  • A creator must not, in their provision of services, engage in credit activity. This is;
  • Suggest in your content that a member apply for, increase, or remain with a particular credit product.
  • You must not assist a member to apply for a credit product.

No Donations
Asking members to donate money or financially support any cause is not allowed. This includes fundraisers, crowd-funding and charities.
Enforcement

The team at WeMoney has a myriad of ways that we enforce these guidelines, including, but not limited to;

  • Politely reminding you to obey the community guidelines
  • Removing content that breaches the community guidelines
  • Suspending and/or banning accounts that breach community guidelines
  • Banning accounts involved in severe or repeat violations of the community guidelines

WeMoney is not liable for any loss caused, whether due to negligence or otherwise arising from the use of, or reliance on, the information provided directly or indirectly within the WeMoney community.
