View on the App Store →Some useful features but every other update something new breaks requiring me to put more effort in to use it. Zero value for money, might as well use Excel.
Your ads are really funny
Only newly signed up but already really happy with how the app works , great app to have to manage finances, get offers on products etc .. wish I signed up long ago And also the customer care team are brilliant, really accommodating, professional and experienced with any issues that may arise Solid 10/10
Hello, initially WeMoney seemed like a brilliant fit. My situation has changed and I no longer needed the app but cannot delete my account, (different to deleting the app) and I have received an email daily since downloading this app as well as notifications. I have contacted them 3 times trying to get an actual response not just AI or an auto response, so disappointed and frustrated. Delete my account and stop spamming me, goddam.
Laughable service. An app that claims to simplify your finances that can't even handle its own. Signed up through a promotion offering a reward on QMEE then referred for seperate reward all on 19/2/25. Find out after the fact that rewards are processed Mondays. The following Tuesday I receive half the reward. Ask support and they apologise/say devs are looking into it - you'll get it next week. 5/3/25, no reward, no response. Small amount but why advertise it if you can't hold your end. Binned.
if it pans out I'll buy you lunch.... probably a useful rapid comparison tool remains to be seen....
fair
Having trouble setting up account. Have recently moved feom New Zealand to Australia. Set up for Australia wants previous address but that was In New Zealand.
Bank sync is the worst, missing transactions that makes you think you are doing well. Absolutely useless.
Terrible bank/lender integration. Constant ads trying to get you to refinance or take out a personal loan. If you only have accounts with their partners, it might be okay but I could only link 2 out of my 5 accounts. Ads on every screen, emailed ads and notifications are unavoidable and annoying af
Very good
Before I even see what is the app all about, it first ask me to input my legal name, phone number, address, copy of passport / drivers license… for what? Why does a budgeting app needs to collect all your private and personal data for? Looks suss af! Be careful where you share your private details. I’m certainly not giving it to them.
This app used to be good. Now even with a paid subscription they bombard you with ads. The syncing of the banks are hilariously slow. Half the banks on the list are halfing connection problems. And worse of all I can't delete my account! I keep getting a failed message. Don't download this app. I'm off to try pocketsmith.
Very helpful 👌
The app looks and feels good but the functions of the app don’t actually work properly. The totals shown on the Track section can be wrong if you’ve done any categorisation or ignoring of transactions. Also, when you try to bulk categorise or bulk ignore transactions, it just doesn’t work. I’ve tried contacting support (around 6months ago) and still nothing. Don’t waste time connecting your bank accounts and categorisation anything as it is a waste of time eventually with the lack of proper categorisation. The main purpose from this app seems to be just to either serve you adds or make you pay a subscription. There are better free alternatives out there
great for personal loans loans and lower interest rates than anywhere else
Despite having every single notification type turned off, I still get the most stupid annoying ones daily. Next one I get I’m deleting the app.
go at this stage
Great concept but for an app that’s been around for a while you’d think they would have listened to customer feedback allowing to manually add your debt as there is still limited companies of who your debt is with to add. If they changed that it would be a game changer
Recurring payments is an absolute mess. Doesn’t pick up half my recurrings and the editing feature gets bugged out and frozen every single time. Fix this and the app would be solid.
Good App
This will change your financial education for the good.
easy to use and helpful
WeMoney has helped me save a lot of money and organise my finances
I am so happy, I have finally found an app have everything I need to have more control of my finances. It is aesthetically pleasing whilst being informative. Before I had different apps for different uses where now I have it all in the WeMoney app. The amazing features I love is all my transactions for my accounts are displayed in one section, the setting up my goals and the budget tracking. So easy to set up and use, I like the fact that it is in compliance with the data and Australian laws. My finance is so personal I’m glad it is trustworthy. Thank you so much !!!!
I am really enjoying the app and really appreciate the free version being actually useable, until I can afford the subscription (which using the app will help me get to a better financial position to do so!) and finally something that can communicate with Australian banks - auto tracking REALLY helps
Demanding my phone number, full name, date of birth, address AND drivers licence number upon sign up??? Hard pass!!
Thought I'd try this app to help me budget. Has no budget function, it doesn't list the tracking in + or -, so no idea of income or expenses. My bank provides the exact same features. What I was looking for was a way to analyse spending, and a suggested budget to cut back. Overall no functionality, just a useless tracking page. I don't want to use community and when I click home it takes me to institutions no settings or profile, ive already logged my institution. Can't even delete my account!!
Why the hell do you need my divers licence or birth certificate?? It's a budgeting app! Sounds like one big scam to me. Deleted seconds after installing.
It looks cool, but the subsctiption is so much wish there was a month trial ( or a low payment fortnightly like $1 a day for the first month) before you get charged heavily for the pro-subscription.. for people like me... who struggle
Didn't connect to my St George account but pulled up my credit rating. App doesn't seem to do much other than try to sell me debt consolidation. Disappointing.
I haven't figured out how to connect any accounts yet because I don't know what an account ID is but since I have just one account that all my expenses come out of if I connect that bank account would it then be able to keep track of all my expenses and what they are? I still haven't decided if I want to use this yet.
I paid for Pro and I still get ads everytime I click on something even tho pro subscription is active and have access to pro featutes. The forced ad hides the X close button above the notification bar so you can't close it. I cannot view my budget or any breakdowns in "pay cycle" which feels like an obvious way to monitor my spending. I was excited for this app for the first day, paid for Pro and then still get the same in app ad, missing features. If anyone knows how to fix these, please help
This is one stop shop, for all my financial
I love the idea of this app and connected a couple of my credit cards and accounts to the app, but I can’t connect my main bank account that includes my savings, my offset and my mortgage. I’ve given that feedback within the app for months and nothing has changed. My bank is a major bank that many health professionals use. I feel that the privacy I am giving up giving by access to my accounts to a third party app is only worth it if I can actually use the app as designed.
Separate investments and superannuation category on the main screen
Started with Humaniti and soon outgrew its limitations. WeMoney addresses its limitations around user configurable categories
my name jeff
I really like the ability to keep all my accounts visibility and set budgets target's, however the connection to accounts seems to drop out pretty regularly and you have to change the categories and reset them again a lot.
seems like a great way to see all debts and assets to become free from debt great way to visualise everything rather then in your head
Data is collected and sold to companies
Honestly haven't actually used the app, but based off the advertising I think they overestimate how many people have subscriptions they have forgotten about, as this seems to be the target demographic.
Totally not comfortable givng SO MUCH of my perosnal information. Such information that you can easily call my bank, verify as myself and do whatever you'd like. Deleted the app and then you send an email everyday to hound the user to come back and provide the pending information. You guys need to back off a bit with these strategies!
Crashes every time you try the link and account, tried multiple.
One of the best financial planner ever! great overall.
The app is good for what it does but a few issues I can't look past. I couldn't set budgets to my pay cycle and view money flow according to a date i set, only a calendar month. Also cant change categories until a transaction is no longer pending. Moved to another app which allows me to do all that.
Only been on here for few hours and already feeling a little less pressure on financials with having this App
Seriously inconvenient to enter all personal information into an app I can’t even open and look at until I have gone to the effort of adding all of my personal data into. Surely we should be able to look around to decide before entering everything in. Might change the rating once I finally get in but having to find all personal information and I can’t even look at the app until it’s all done???? Seriously. This feels really dodgy
I love using this app :)
This app has the potential to be very user friendly, however a lot of the automation in the background actually works against the end user. When bulk-selecting transactions to categorise, it will also automatically select a whole bunch of other transactions that don’t fit within that same category or merchant. You can also manually allocate the next due date for a bill payment, but the automation on WeMoney will override it anyway. Lastly, I have found that if you have more than 1 bill from the same merchant, even if the transaction amount differs, WeMoney can not differentiate. EG: Apple TV/Apple Cloud - although falling onto different days of the mount, for different amounts, they can not be separated into 2x bills or “recurring payments”. Hoping to see these issues fixed because this app has such a huge potential!!
I've been using this app for about 3 years now, with a subscription for 1 year. However, the amounts in my accounts aren't accurate, and sometimes the accounts stop working. When I wasn't paying, I didn't mind the occasional bug. I purchased a subscription to add categories, but they were very unreliable. When I asked for support, I received a response from someone who seemed dismissive so much so she said I can delete your account. I canceled my subscription and re-enabled it hoping for improvement after an update, but now I can't even find support. So, I've decided to cancel for good. I'm disappointed.
WeMoney is super helpful to track all your money in real time. Everything is super simple to navigate and easy to manage and set up. The visual graphs and cool features help with managing cash flow. I’m only 22 and this has made my life so much more easy to manage in terms of finances. I would like to give a massive shoutout to Chloe who was a customer service provider who provided valuable easy to follow help when it came to my account losing it’s real time. They provide access to your accounts up to for me a year (for data privacy and integrity) but reactivating my consent was super easy thanks to Chloe.
Needs a drivers licence or passport to even sign in. Why? Just a data mining app.
Lousy app with lots of bugs. Net worth not accurate. Doesn’t connect with some loan accounts. Customer service is excellent and responsive. Tech side is lagging.
I just signed up two days ago and had quite a few questions of which Chloe was able to help provide some clarity on. She was very helpful. Thanks Chloe
Wemoney allows you to connect to so many different banks, super and investment funds so that you can keep track of all your finances in one place. Wemoney gives summaries on net worth, income, spending and budgeting which are features I use on a daily basis. Wemoney literally is a one stop shop for personal finance. The only improvement I could suggest is a larger range of trading platforms for which I can link to Wemoney (ie - etoro, Webull, moomoo or tiger trade). Wemoney has regular updates so I’m keen to see more options in the future!
Had this app for a few years and loved it, however that’s changed since they allow less and less connections. Case in point: they used to allow you to connect to State Custodians / Resimac and then stopped without explanation. Next thing the link to AusSuper stopped working and all attempts to re-establish connection have failed. Shame. Used to be a great app but now that the basics are failing it’s a getting to be less useful and is becoming a waste of time and effort for customers. UPDATE The We Money Team got in touch and were able to fix the issue with AusSuper and get it up and running again. State Custodians is still a no go. I’ve upped their review from 2 stars to 4 due to their good customer service. Would be great if they could get State Custodians back on board.
This app is useless and floods you with marketing for financial products from the second you login. I was texted and emailed 17 times about potential loans within an hour of registering an account. By the second hour I had deleted my account.
This app is easily the best budgeting app I’ve come across. The tracking and budgeting features as well as the UI and UX are all top notch. This app does have some room for improvement though. Some features that would be awesome: - Ability to manually input transactions where necessary, for example with cash payments. - Ability to manipulate transactions, i.e, if I bought a blender on top of my usual grocery shop up at the supermarket I wouldn’t want that transaction lumped in with the groceries category. The ability to split it and categorise it the way I want would be a nice feature. - Ability to see how much of a recurring expense is contributing to my budget category, i.e. how much of my recurring gym expenses are contributing to my personal care category. - Calculator features for goal setting. i.e. - ability to know how long it will take for me to save for x goal by depositing x amount per month with x interest rate applied.
I cancelled MyEquifax as for same price (or less annually) you can get your monthly credit score and notifications. There are some bugs though, bill tracker is always a few days out and I can’t update it regardless of editing and saving. Also would be more meaningful to budget fortnightly rather than monthly as that’s how I get paid - can’t quite ditch the spreadsheet yet.
Paid for the ability to use website and this isn't delivered and no support I have contacted support on a number of occasions and they keep saying "it's being investigated" but nothing ever gets updated or replied unless I further chase this up
I like the connectivity but the budget tracking needs some work! Would also be really helpful to be able to change the category of expenses whilst they are still pending.
I’ve tried using this app for the past two years. There’s been so many bugs and glitches which has caused me to lose data and I’ve been unable to accurately track my accounts, savings goals and credit score improvements. This morning when I went to my most recent credit score, I was logged out and my account lost of my data. It basically went back to me being first time user. I lost connection to my bank accounts, super etc. I’m really annoyed with this app. Until these bugs and glitches are completely resolved, I would not recommend using this app.
As others have said, the app is super buggy. I have tried to connect my bank and other accounts and it doesn’t even work. What a shame :(
This application is horrible. I did the sum of all spending categories for the month of February and it's 9,007.91. Their Track feature states that in Feb I spent 10,362.08. A whooping discrepancy of 1,354.17. Are you kidding me? How am I supposed to trust this app when you can't get a simple arithmetical sum right. In the world of math, 2 plus 2 is 4, not 5.
I really like the interface and what’s offered. I also really like that it can connect to investment account like Macquarie Wrap. However, the connect stability and ability to refresh is poor. The app can sometimes be a week behind with no success with refreshing. Sometimes disconnecting and reconnecting works, but not always. Overall, I like it when it works but far too unreliable.
Sounds promising
Great app to support goals
Was not able to connect one account despite selecting all accounts. This app feels buggy compared to 'Frolllo'. Frollo is also free and the interface much better. I have requested a refund as I prefer Frollo. Was able to link all accounts very smoothly.
As title suggest, this is an excellent budgeting tool that pulls all of your financial information together in one easy to view app. This can include anything from your every day banking accounts, credit cards, super, to investment accounts etc. Not only that, it will consistently update you on your credit rating (something which is so hard to find out at the best of times in Australia!). I’ve been recommending WeMoney to all of my friends and family. Keep up the great work devs. Probably the only suggestion I have is to add a “Savings” category in the Track tab.
The app wants to charge me and won’t let me delete my data or my account. Display a technical issue message instead.
Considering it’s a finance app, I don’t understand how the balances show incorrectly so often. Customer service is non existent. No interest in fixing the issue, tickets just sit open for weeks with no updates.
This app has so much potential, but there needs to be more control over custom setting the dates of tracking, not just monthly/fortnightly. The app seems to have a lot of trouble automatically categorising transactions too, so you have to manually go through them. And finally, the web version should be fully functional. As it stands, it’s very basic. I’m sure most users would like to sit down at their computer and go over their budget in exactly the same way as the app.
Created my profile and sent in all the identification required, it said “please wait 48h while we verify your identity.” Three weeks later it was still saying that. Just takes you ID
It will help me keep in track on how much I have been spending, so because I need to work on that
I want to like this app, because the features are amazing but it is SO BUGGY!!! It was telling me I had $800,000 in shares (I wish) and then even when I went to report a bug it wouldn’t let me attach a screen shot. Freezes all the time, lots of small issues getting in the way of it being a great tool.
Great idea, useful app, but extremely unreliable. Often crashes and fails to load for days at a time.
Love the app, super easy to connect and great to use for keeping on track of finances. One of the best apps I’ve found to do it here in Australia. Would love to see more investment companies added such as WeBull so I can see that on the app too.
Needs improvements. Doesn’t load
The app is really feature rich and handles multiple accounts from all sorts of services fairly well. My only gripe is it just randomly goes down whenever I really need it. And I can understand if it was really rare, but for some reason I just keep getting greeted with the app loading screen. It’s become so unreliable I have to have a second app running with similar features as a backup just in case. This downtime can go on for days as well. It’s annoying that it functions like a live kind of service, I simply want to look at my accounts and move on. Does it need to block me from doing everything when it goes down? Decent app, just can’t seem to keep itself online reliably.
Hey every time I open the app my purchases rearrange into the wrong categories. I go through each category and edit them but they default back to the original location set by the app, can you please rectify this error or explain what I’m doing wrong? Thanks
Was using it for a couple of years, very good to track expenses, but since the last update the app doesn’t open, it stays on the loading page (the blue screen with the logo in the centre) and nothing happens. An app that doesn’t load is unfortunately a useless app?
Just a waste of time…
I had high hopes. I contacted customer service several times, as my budgeting and recent transaction history was unavailable but hasn’t been fixed in the last week. This feature is basically why I downloaded the app. The customer service team is very polite and lovely but when it comes to fixing anything, nothing happens I was looking forward to a great app and this could be it… but isn’t Other problems…when consolidating debt, the third party charges a very big set-up fee. Goals kept not syncing to my accounts. And I have to reset them multiple times to get it to work. Sorry guys it’s a hard pass. Lot’s of potential
No doubt that this is by far the most well developed budget tracking and financial planning app out there. But a $99 p/y subscription is very high for something that allows cross platform syncing and budgeting. I am also not interested to be told about Loan and Credit cards. If the pricing were a bit more flexible with different tiers for different users, that would make this a much preferred app.
My app isn’t opening for the past week and all I see is a white screen. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling but still experiencing the problem.
App doesn’t open which is so disappointing because it has valuable information if it worked
Update: somewhat interesting to know, their awards are pay to play - companies have to pay to be considered. They’re not entirely independent so aren’t exactly objective awards. I was asked to participate in a previous role. Have spent time now with the app, doesn’t articulate anything special about your financial habits that you can’t already access through the better banking mobile apps including categorisations. Incredibly buggy and the notifications to get a personal loan are concerning, repetitive and irrelevant. Particularly useless.
It was working great and now has stopped working all of sudden. It just shows white screen when you open the app. I have tried reinstalling the app too but no difference.
It’s been giving me white screen ever since the last update, reinstalling doesn’t do anything. Very buggy, if you want an app that just works then it’s not for you because it doesn’t work.
Application is not opening since the last update
This app is one giant ad placement platform for products it’s trying to sell to you. Provide something useful first please. I regret sharing my data probably ended up in china somewhere
Downloaded app 6 days ago and linked all accounts beautifully with no issues and began creating categories and linking transactions to them. Then this morning I get a blank white screen that doesn’t move. I’ve tried deleting the app, resetting phone but nothing worked. My email was working to reset password either. I Customer service is very slow and they don’t have and live chat. I’m hopeful this can be sorted as the app and features looked fantastic but it’s no point if the app keeps failing. Very disappointed
I haven’t been able to get in for months because it just gets stuck on the loading page. Unfortunately I now have a deep hatred for that stupid loading page animation. I see it in my sleep. It’s insane to me that an app that was working so well is suddenly bedridden because it takes so long to load. Don’t bother putting your personal info in because you may never be able to get into or again one day.
Great features are embedded in the free version and hips of extras with an annual subscription. This app is the best I found so far to track cashflow, understand your spending habits and set your goals for saving money. The latest update fixes the login issue and thanks to customer service for reaching out.
I don’t have a great first impression of this app. Recurring expenses - had a bug where the dates and days of the week did not align. Recurring expense dates are also often a few days later than in reality - I presume because the app goes off of the cleared date rather than the charged date. This would be alright if you could manually adjust these recurring expense dates though when you save the new date this doesn’t save. Also, I used a coupon code when signing up to receive $5 and this is not recorded in my account and support has been average regarding all of these issues.
It’s so useful to get my credit score although now they want you to pay Gone are the days when it didn’t cost anything it was helpful though
Im not comfortable to share my info to this app to just get a budget plan. Who knows if this is a scam
Great idea, but the bugs are pretty frequent eg I’ve had zero dollar transactions being randomly recorded as $8, purchases on one credit card product were all recorded as money received (rather than spent), and moving money between accounts or paying down loans/credit were often incorrectly categorised. Strongly suggest you try the free product and check the level of bugs before you commit to the paid version.
The app works relatively well & is useful however considering I’m paying $10/month for premium, I find it incredibly frustrating that basically everytime I login I have to update the app & my accounts are constantly not up to date.
Too laggy to use, it makes using this app so frustrating.
The app just seems to be way too busy, choosing putting ads and promos in every nook and cranny over making a good UI that's easy to navigate.
great app
good app.. and they also from time to time do really short surveys for 5 or 10 bucks paypal as well its good there awesome
all it does is try selling you other loans, it is absolutely zero help getting you better off financially
this app doesn't help with budgeting at all. the only thing it does is try to sell debt consolidation loans
what an awesome app. one single point of view for my personal position.
Good
You guys need a better app name, this is the only app where I'm like "I want to check in with it" but i can't remember what its called.
Great 👍
app is ok will be using for my financial inputs into to work it out properly on data sheets for financial company's , and debt collection agency's creditcorp , Chandler's mcCleouds CommBank credit card fixation payments , latitude go MasterCard , latitude credit corp for ranger loan , zip cash zip credit card I really thought this was a debt consolidating company was why I downloaded this
Not boring like most ,not half as many boring repetitive Ads
I've used this app for the last couple of years and it worked great but recently it keeps freezing, has lost connection to all my accounts.
excessive ads. it feels like every second screen is trying to pitch me on refinancing, no matter how many times I decline.
Just getting to know what the app is all about
Tried multiple times but wouldn't let me load my most important bank accounts with loans, etc (which is with one of the big banks, so not obscure or anything) and no response to my queries, so I deleted the app.
It should be noted in the app description that it wants you to verify your identity. I deleted the app right away, all I want is an app to manage my finances - i dont want to sit there and have to verify my identity or anything. Ridiculous.
smooth transitions and easy to navigate
not suited to a basic home budget. the app requires WAY too much information including a credit check etc This information is not necessary i am not applying for credit
amazing dashboard, super easy to use. just wish Australia super worked
App is good however everyday its installed it shows up on your credit score like everyday.
this app has been very good in the past. it has good caterisation tools and makes budgeting easy. it can occasionally bit a little clunky but nothing terrible. however it no longer updates my transaction history so has essentially become useless, i have logged multiple bug reports and tried troubleshooting on my end but have heard nothing back about a fix, if it starts working again i will update my review.
good
great
shame you dont advice people at the start it is another subscription service to look at what money you spend.
I have had a very concerning experience with WeMoney. My credit file has been accessed numerous times without my knowledge or clear consent. Each access has left enquiry footprints on my credit report, which can impact my credit profile. I find this unacceptable and would like an explanation and for any unauthorized enquiries to be addressed.
Horrible spammy emails. Same vibe as scammers. 6-10 emails a day hounding for more.
so buggy.
this app was really good. for some reason i was logged out of my account, got back into it and now its gone all weird. the pages a huge, cant rotate to see what its saying for you to do. im going to uninstall then reinstall if it still happens i might have to give this app a miss which would be a pity because its the one ive found that has the new credit rating system.
convenient easily accessible uncomplicated and stress free while being completely fully here for me exactly when I needed
excellent, helps me save.
Garbage! I tried it a year ago and had troubles, even after paying for the pro version. decided to have another look, but nothing has changed. can't connect my bank accounts and no-one wants to answer the help chat. no communication at all.
Dont even bother... to many bugs. Cant link accounts... save your time. Im going to try Frollo instead
so far so good
very laggy, app keeps freezing when trying to link popular accounts. do not waste your time setting up
paid for pro and can connect barely any accounts except ANZ. Seems to be a stack of issues. paid PRO for Desktop too, which also isn't working.
used to really like this app, now nothing is working, cant add or remove recurring payments, pretty much anything i try to do now just freezes the app
Great App 11/10
Great concept. Took a little while to get the categories right but once it is very useful information, just very slow and laggy at times
It's a well laid out app, especially for a free version. There's plenty of categories for sorting transactions and ways to track spending. Unfortunately, not all transactions get sorted right so there is a fair bit of manual input. Some transactions get named as 'Osko' or 'Direct Debit' and you have to click on it to see the transaction details and categorise it correctly. It can lag a lot so this process is slow and frustrating at times.
I couldn't care less about my credit score. I just want to manage finances. definitely asking for way too much personal info
Helpful app. Just a good thing to check up on useful information on finances. Thanks Team!
Very good app for money management and very good offers available on the app
No way to give all of my personal info to this app....
a bit buggy but useful for credit score and budgeting
It's asking to much personal info in the beginning to see what this app is all about.
so far so good
unable to connect any accounts, have made multiple bug reports when it happens and no reply. great I'm sure for the people it works for, when it doesn't, you don't exist, uninstalled 👎🏼
Just downloaded the app. Easy to use. Pretty good so far.
mint as bro 💜
