The app just seems to be way too busy, choosing putting ads and promos in every nook and cranny over making a good UI that's easy to navigate.
Nothing works as it should. Ever since I created an account, I’ve been trying to link AusSuper. Refuses to work and says it is “currently” down, but has been down for months. Submitted two bug requests and heard nothing back from their supposed support team. Useless customer support. You can’t even pick a dark mode choice on the app. Don’t waste your time, sincerely.

all it does is try selling you other loans, it is absolutely zero help getting you better off financially
this app doesn't help with budgeting at all. the only thing it does is try to sell debt consolidation loans

In theory it’s great but the UI is awful. Consistently shows you adds to upgrade or sign up to credit services. For the life of me I can’t seem to recategorise transactions

app is ok will be using for my financial inputs into to work it out properly on data sheets for financial company's , and debt collection agency's creditcorp , Chandler's mcCleouds CommBank credit card fixation payments , latitude go MasterCard , latitude credit corp for ranger loan , zip cash zip credit card I really thought this was a debt consolidating company was why I downloaded this

I've used this app for the last couple of years and it worked great but recently it keeps freezing, has lost connection to all my accounts.
excessive ads. it feels like every second screen is trying to pitch me on refinancing, no matter how many times I decline.
Just getting to know what the app is all about
I had great hopes for WeMoney! Yet it has disappointed from the first. For an app claiming to solve the cashflow and debt problems of everyday living, it has not lived up to its promise! I don’t have debt problems. I don’t have debts! None. Zero. Nil. I have credit - NOTE CR - balances in both my credit cards! I deposit money into my CCs, in advance - fortnightly, to pay for my EFTPOS payments. Yet WeMoney insists I have a CC debt equal to the credit. For a money accounting program that we are asked to trust, if it cannot tell the difference between a credit and debit, should we trust it? Maybe not.
Tried multiple times but wouldn't let me load my most important bank accounts with loans, etc (which is with one of the big banks, so not obscure or anything) and no response to my queries, so I deleted the app.
It should be noted in the app description that it wants you to verify your identity. I deleted the app right away, all I want is an app to manage my finances - i dont want to sit there and have to verify my identity or anything. Ridiculous.
Great concept, terrible execution. Bank accounts say refreshed but balances don’t change. Net worth calculations wildly inaccurate based on the accounts not refreshing. Slammed with ads unless you purchase pro (which I did) and is a huge waste of money. A+ for marketing. D for the actual application. Reported multiple bugs, no fixes and no response from developers. Don’t waste your money.

App is good however everyday its installed it shows up on your credit score like everyday.
this app has been very good in the past. it has good caterisation tools and makes budgeting easy. it can occasionally bit a little clunky but nothing terrible. however it no longer updates my transaction history so has essentially become useless, i have logged multiple bug reports and tried troubleshooting on my end but have heard nothing back about a fix, if it starts working again i will update my review.

Thought this would be similar to MoneyBrilliant but so far behind. UI is buggy, as a yearly PRO subscriber I am very disappointed.
I like this app. I use it when I can. Unfortunately it frequently bugs out and doesn’t update banking information. I’ve had several instances where my account amounts don’t update for weeks. I’ve reported the bug but it doesn’t seem to resolve the repeated issue. When the amounts are updating, it’s a really useful app. I love being able to see where my money has been spent and areas I can improve. It’s awesome that I don’t have to manually add all those amounts in. If they can iron out this current bug, it will be a 5 star app.
I signed up for the premium features, however they were never enabled on my account & I was told my subscription had expired despite providing the evidence of the charge. When I contacted the support centre, I had zero response. So I tried a different email & was finally acknowledged only to have to explain the situation all over again instead of them finding my support tickets (I gave them the reference numbers). After being told my subscription had expired, even though I was charged - I was never offered for the app to be fixed, instead was told to request a refund from apple directly. As well, when I was initially setting up and went to connect all my various accounts, most of them either weren’t available or were not working - this went on for days with no indication of a resolution. Lastly, when deleting my account it has a button for “tell us why you’re leaving” but when you click on the button, nothing happens. This app is beyond a joke Overall - poor app & shocking customer service experience.
I have had a very concerning experience with WeMoney. My credit file has been accessed numerous times without my knowledge or clear consent. Each access has left enquiry footprints on my credit report, which can impact my credit profile. I find this unacceptable and would like an explanation and for any unauthorized enquiries to be addressed.
Horrible spammy emails. Same vibe as scammers. 6-10 emails a day hounding for more.
Totally unusable for the last two months. Still paying for premium, no accounts link. No response from support. Months and months of budgeting/tracking/assigning tags lost.
Absolutely useless, doesn’t list all transactions. Was missing some transactions from my linked credit card so stats are inaccurate. Submitted 2 bug reports over the past month and still no reply other than the auto AI reply. App deleted. Don’t waste your time.

this app was really good. for some reason i was logged out of my account, got back into it and now its gone all weird. the pages a huge, cant rotate to see what its saying for you to do. im going to uninstall then reinstall if it still happens i might have to give this app a miss which would be a pity because its the one ive found that has the new credit rating system.

Garbage! I tried it a year ago and had troubles, even after paying for the pro version. decided to have another look, but nothing has changed. can't connect my bank accounts and no-one wants to answer the help chat. no communication at all.
Dont even bother... to many bugs. Cant link accounts... save your time. Im going to try Frollo instead

This app used to be good but now there are a lot of attachable accounts having issues with it. I can’t add my superannuation account and it keeps counting transfers between accounts as income, making my total each month balloon out.

paid for pro and can connect barely any accounts except ANZ. Seems to be a stack of issues. paid PRO for Desktop too, which also isn't working.
Some useful features but every other update something new breaks requiring me to put more effort in to use it. Zero value for money, might as well use Excel.
Hello, initially WeMoney seemed like a brilliant fit. My situation has changed and I no longer needed the app but cannot delete my account, (different to deleting the app) and I have received an email daily since downloading this app as well as notifications. I have contacted them 3 times trying to get an actual response not just AI or an auto response, so disappointed and frustrated. Delete my account and stop spamming me, goddam.
Bank sync is the worst, missing transactions that makes you think you are doing well. Absolutely useless.
Before I even see what is the app all about, it first ask me to input my legal name, phone number, address, copy of passport / drivers license… for what? Why does a budgeting app needs to collect all your private and personal data for? Looks suss af! Be careful where you share your private details. I’m certainly not giving it to them.
The app looks and feels good but the functions of the app don’t actually work properly. The totals shown on the Track section can be wrong if you’ve done any categorisation or ignoring of transactions. Also, when you try to bulk categorise or bulk ignore transactions, it just doesn’t work. I’ve tried contacting support (around 6months ago) and still nothing. Don’t waste time connecting your bank accounts and categorisation anything as it is a waste of time eventually with the lack of proper categorisation. The main purpose from this app seems to be just to either serve you adds or make you pay a subscription. There are better free alternatives out there
Despite having every single notification type turned off, I still get the most stupid annoying ones daily. Next one I get I’m deleting the app.
Great concept but for an app that’s been around for a while you’d think they would have listened to customer feedback allowing to manually add your debt as there is still limited companies of who your debt is with to add. If they changed that it would be a game changer
Recurring payments is an absolute mess. Doesn’t pick up half my recurrings and the editing feature gets bugged out and frozen every single time. Fix this and the app would be solid.

WeMoney has helped me save a lot of money and organise my finances
I am so happy, I have finally found an app have everything I need to have more control of my finances. It is aesthetically pleasing whilst being informative. Before I had different apps for different uses where now I have it all in the WeMoney app. The amazing features I love is all my transactions for my accounts are displayed in one section, the setting up my goals and the budget tracking. So easy to set up and use, I like the fact that it is in compliance with the data and Australian laws. My finance is so personal I’m glad it is trustworthy. Thank you so much !!!!
I am really enjoying the app and really appreciate the free version being actually useable, until I can afford the subscription (which using the app will help me get to a better financial position to do so!) and finally something that can communicate with Australian banks - auto tracking REALLY helps
I love the idea of this app and connected a couple of my credit cards and accounts to the app, but I can’t connect my main bank account that includes my savings, my offset and my mortgage. I’ve given that feedback within the app for months and nothing has changed. My bank is a major bank that many health professionals use. I feel that the privacy I am giving up giving by access to my accounts to a third party app is only worth it if I can actually use the app as designed.

Seriously inconvenient to enter all personal information into an app I can’t even open and look at until I have gone to the effort of adding all of my personal data into. Surely we should be able to look around to decide before entering everything in. Might change the rating once I finally get in but having to find all personal information and I can’t even look at the app until it’s all done???? Seriously. This feels really dodgy
This app has the potential to be very user friendly, however a lot of the automation in the background actually works against the end user. When bulk-selecting transactions to categorise, it will also automatically select a whole bunch of other transactions that don’t fit within that same category or merchant. You can also manually allocate the next due date for a bill payment, but the automation on WeMoney will override it anyway. Lastly, I have found that if you have more than 1 bill from the same merchant, even if the transaction amount differs, WeMoney can not differentiate. EG: Apple TV/Apple Cloud - although falling onto different days of the mount, for different amounts, they can not be separated into 2x bills or “recurring payments”. Hoping to see these issues fixed because this app has such a huge potential!!
Been trying a few different budgeting apps such as Frollo. First day with We Money and so far so good. Some pages are a bit buggy. The free features are fantastic and love the demarcation with the pro paid version and all the customisation features offered there. Also reddit review people mention the excessive ads and pushing other products in WeMoney, but it’s squared away nicely and not always in your face (in my opinion :)). When an ad/offer does come up, it’s relevant and timely (so far). Give We Money a go!
They need id docs addresses and all personal information. Deleted app straight away.

From the beginning there were too many emails and ads for financial products. Better off shopping around instead of using their preferred financial partners.
It’s not to bad and I like how it connects to banks so no need to manually add stuff. I find the promotion are not really helpful or useful just annoying. For example trying to promote a better home loan rate for my investment properties. Offer me better investment loan rates not home loan rates. Or the space superannuation thing. My super already out performs that. Otherwise not bad for free. Has heaps of potential.
It keeps saying “entity doesn’t exist” when I try to connect to any bank account, no matter which bank. iOS 18, iPhone 15 pro max
Downloaded this expecting it to help me get my finances under control. All it does is offer your loans to settle your debts. It “this product”, “that product” we can offer to help you but nothing they offer as an actual tool to use to help manage finances, which is what I expected. And get ready for 1000 emails and notifications. 0 stars. Would give it -5 if I could.
I would like to commend the WeMoney customer support team for their excellent assistance in resolving my one of the card linking issue. The dedication and persistence shown throughout the process were truly impressive. They not only communicated promptly but also provided clear instructions and updates at each step, which made the entire experience was great. Thanks to the team’s efforts, my issue was resolved, and I am now able to use the wemoney without any complications. Downloaded this app a month ago and have been loving it so far. Not only does it track my transactions far more accurately than any other app I’ve tried it’s the only app I’ve found that constantly tracks everything from my mortgage, savings, assets, debts, investments and super so I can see exactly where my finances stand at any given moment. Haven’t explored all the budgeting options yet as I am still working them out but so far I’m in love with this app and that’s something I wouldn’t think I would ever say about a budgeting app. Only thing that could make it even better would be to make the pro version free but at least I can say spending the money will give you an app that has all the tools to help you not only understand your finances better but show you how to improve your financial situation in a simple easy to understand format.

Really helpful way of seeing where your money is at. I love the expense feature to track how much your expenses will be each month. Really helps to plan ahead
Pay walls not free as advertised
WeMoney worked well for me for about 12 months, then because of a change in protocols connecting to my bank, I needed to change my connection to CDR. However I couldn’t delete my redundant accounts. Therefore I had redundant accounts that tried to connect to my bank which my bank saw a suspicious and locked me out. Chloe from WeMoney spent a couple of weeks trying to fix the issue and even had to get their engineering team and Yodlee involved. At all times she kept me informed and showed great customer service. The issue has now been fixed. Thanks to all involved
Plenty free apps that aren't as good but not paying don't even show ya price I started to make my acc then stopped soon as read monthly fee should just be 1 of payment plenty apps out there and ya bank apps pretty decent and there free

I’ve tried multiple budgeting apps and this is the best by far. Not only the is the app great, but the customer service is 10/10. I recently had a couple of questions and queries - Chloe from the customer service team responded within the hour, with clear instructions and solved everything straight away! Great team, great app
USELESS
Really like the app but it’s quite time consuming due to a few glitches. Doesn’t always recognise your accounts, the disappear and reappear. Can’t add an account to a goal you’ve already created, the track progress by linking an account button makes you create a whole new goal. Also not all accounts show here to link to which is frustrating. If it worked well, it would be a fantastic app. Also can’t link my Superhero or Resimac accounts unfortunately as they are not supported.
App Store says 4+ but then you try make an account and it says you have to be 18+ . Surely if I’m old enough to have a driver licence and have enough sources/outgoing money then surely I should be old enough to be using the app Remove the age limit please

This app has provided me with an excellent high level view of all accounts in one place, simplifying a dollar figure of net wealth. Paid subscription allows you to link accounts to budgets, however the free version will only give you total dollar values of budgets. Unfortunately, at present I am unable to link my Boardroom (InvestorServe) account with the app, stating it is currently under repair. Hopefully this will be rectified moving forward. The app allows you to link various accounts via CDR, allowing greater control of the data and information required to link accounts. Overall, excellent app to gather information and trend overall wealth, with options of finding savings through various financial services offered. Great to spend some time and set up properly to gain control over your finances and trend positive growth outcomes. Thanks for the support.
I signed up to pro to get the full experience and get rid of ads but the desktop access with pro membership is extremely basic which made me extremely disappointed It should have a dashboard with all the widgets which I expected from the app. Seems like someone put together over a weekend as an afterthought last minute. Pls invest some developer hours into the desktop experience.

I cannot explain his frustrating it is to have to login again to the app every time there’s an update. Please stop whatever is happening in the background causing this. The other part is that I login using a Google account. I accidentally chose the ringtone and now I can’t login at all, because it keeps trying to make me sign up using that account. I’ve deleted the app and started again, but it’s still there, trying to login with the other account. It’s infuriating. If you’re happy with three stars, great. My convenience is the other 2 stars.
Found this app has everything that you need to stay on top of things. Chloe is an email away if you have questions and is super helpful. Worth checking it out
The app is great .. Tracking the expenses is not working properly. I keep refreshing but it is not updating for some reason although i checked the accounts are connected and it says last refresh 2-3 mins ago . Eventually, i keep it closed for 2-3 days then i try again,and sometimes it works !
The trouble with this app is, there’s not enough features to make it worth paying for, and if you don’t pay for it, you have to turn the notifications off because there’s just SO much spam. Constant notifications for new credit cards, home loans. Massive turn-off.
Would be a 5-star app. Loses a star for constant ads (and prompting to vote the app up on various competitions and rating systems). I always deduct a star for annoying self promotion and gratuitous ads. Lost a star for speed. It is slower than a wet week. Lost a star for the month of not being able to sync my accounts which they then blamed on Yodlee, the 3rd party banking CDR provider.
Nice app, but you are inundated with offers for loans, credit cards etc. Not really great for an app supposedly for debt reduction.
Doesn't not connect to Qantas credit card. There for useless for me!

I like it. Seems to integrate well with the various banks I use. But there is some bugs. Clearly uses GMT timezone as transactions the happen before 10am appear as if they happened the day before. Classifications don't stick you wind up reclassifying alot. And like another review trying to change the date of a recurring transaction just doesn't work it just ignores it and stays on the date it was on which seems to be the date the transaction previously occurred which isn't always correct.

Do not use! App requires extremely sensitive personal identity documents to sign up even though it's just a budgeting tool, and its data sharing policy says practically all your data is shared with third parties for advertising and marketing.
Great app, very useful, only problems are the bugs. I keep trying to change the reoccurring expenses to the correct date at which the expense will be deducted, but the app somehow doesn't change it. The app keeps the expense on a different date, no matter how much I try to change it. Please fix this as this is creating inaccuracies with my budget.
I like the idea of this app. But I find it unreliable and, at times, lose the account links. Also, there are lots of ads and notifications, so...

The app is great and all but I'm reviewing the customer service because they are amazing! Had an issue with my subscription and Chloe was very prompt with her responses and problem solving. I have never had such a positive customer service experience with an app before. Awesome job!

I do enjoy this app, however it has few major problems. I recently added all my bank accounts to wemoney and it categorised a lot of internal transfers and round ups as income when they are not. This app is also VERY buggy. Overall, I like the UI of the app but would be even better with these issues rounded out.
it's honestly a really helpful app that's been really assisting my budgeting but the last update seemed to change or remove features I enjoy (like being able to see fortnightly and monthly summaries instead of just weekly) and is counting some of my transactions multiple times ending up in telling me that I've gone thousands of dollars over budget. I appreciate how well it seems to integrate with my bank accounts most of the time but it can be frustrating trying to check them numbers
Having examined its benefits to date, the outcomes have proven to be satisfactory.
pretty good so far, mainly interested in the API tie ins and cost tracking. the free version is pretty good as is although not every service seems to work with it at all times. pretty happy with it will keep exploring.
It took a lot of customisation to setup which is fine, but then the app isn't intuitive or developed well to put following transactions into correct categories. Update: amex usually doesn't work and wemoney blame some other company for it. It doesn't work with most of the super companies, pepper money, any amex, some MasterCard, few share mgmt, few credit unions or Woolworths. Not worth paying for and given the amount of customisation to make expenditure correct, it's almost useless for free.

This app destroyed my credit history. I am applying for a home loan, all the times wemoney accessed my credit history, it lowered it. So now i have to delete the application and try to clean up my credit history. In my opinion this application is not worth the effort. False advertising. My credit score has been impacted by them accessing it regularly, telling me it hasn't doesn't change the fact it has. On my credit history it clearly states the impact it has had.
This is a pretty user friendly budgeting app, but it's BUGGY. The auto categorising is pretty wild and doesn't seem to learn. It often misses transactions that it thinks are duplicates (I have two kids) and I can't find a way to remedy this. It often recategorises transactions that I've already categorised. It also offers limited customisation for my particular banking needs, which is frustrating. I hope it gets better!

it talks about saving money in the ad it puts out but then it tells you to buy the pro version which you need for the app to be able to do anything useful. talk about saving money - they just want you spend your money on them instead. you have to enter all your subscriptions and stuff manually (i downloaded this app so i could see all my subscriptions and anything i don't want to be paying for, not for me to do it all myself, what's the point in this app?) you won't be saving anything with this
Don't sign up to their credit score check. They start sending you notifications to get MORE debt. It's pathetic. Just let me use the app to track my budget.

Gave wemoney another go - and signed up for "pro" thinking it would be a monthly charge. Only to discover in the app that I had been charged nearly $100 for an annual charge?!?@ Really helping save money.... NOT!!!!! And even better there is actually no one to contact. For 100 dollars I'd expect to gave a help desk.

A very good tool to assist with getting your financial situation tamed
Great functionality in theory (I really want to go all-in on this app for my finances), but borderline unusable given the number of bugs you slowly uncover as you attempt to use it's full functionality. You'll devote hours of time manually assigning categories to your transactions, only to find that next time your review finances, they've all been forgotten.
Don't bother at this stage, it's essentially a glorified financial advertising service. Core budgeting features buggy, can't input an income into the budget without it erroring out. App unable to differentiate a transfer between Ilinked accounts and income. Would only recommend if you've got a very simple banking setup, with one account that you transact from. Anything more and this app just makes more work for you. Dev team should focus on core functionality vs marketing bad "offers" to me.

The app looks nice but is useless until I can add my virgin money credit card. There also doesn't appear to be a way to manually add credit card statements for banks that are not yet affiliated which seems like a wasted opportunity. Please add this bank asap.
not sure on the UI seems a bit busy, and possibly not optimised for older mobiles as it can seem a bit slow early days but i can see the benefit of this app definitely
The app was great until it stopped syncing with my financial institution (despite the app showing no current issues with the CDR connection). Despite raising a ticket and following up multiple times due to a lack of updates, the issue is still unresolved 2 weeks later and as a paid member this simply isn't good enough.

Just starting...but seems ok so far.
Set it all up and it's tedious, then my income is listed as an expense . So whole ap is total useless. I suggest look elsewhere. Great idea but seriously flawed .
I haven't got too far into using it just yet but the app is very very busy. Constant offers everywhere. If you want somewhere simple to go and view your transactions and manage it, this is not it.
