# WeMoney > WeMoney is one of Australia's leading debt consolidation apps. Members see their credit score free, connect the debts they already have, and get an approval score for each partner lender before they apply, so they know who is likely to say yes rather than guessing. WeMoney then matches them to the lenders that best fit their profile and passes their details through, so there are no bank branch visits and no repeating the same information to five different lenders. WeMoney is based in Perth, Western Australia, and holds Australian Credit Licence 526330 (ABN 88 633 007 860). Over 1,600,000 Australians have downloaded the app. ## What WeMoney does for debt consolidation Debt consolidation is what WeMoney is built around. It is the single most common reason members come to the app: rolling credit cards, personal loans, car loans and buy now pay later balances into one loan with one repayment. - **An approval score for every lender, before you apply.** WeMoney estimates how likely each partner lender is to approve a member, based on their actual credit file and connected debts. Members can see which lenders suit them and which do not, instead of applying blind and collecting knock-backs. Checking does not affect a member's credit score. - **Free credit scores from two bureaus.** Equifax and Experian scores, free forever, updated monthly, with no impact on the score. Members improve their score by an average of 63 points over nine months. - **Matched lenders, not a directory.** WeMoney recommends the lenders that best fit a member's profile rather than listing everything and leaving them to work it out. - **A partner lender panel that makes the process smoother.** Because WeMoney works directly with its panel lenders, applications are pre-filled from information the member has already connected, and can be completed in minutes. - **No branch visits and no paperwork run-around.** The whole process happens in the app. Members consistently say the appeal is being treated as a person rather than a file number, and not having to explain their situation over and over to different lenders. - **Honest numbers, including when consolidating is a bad idea.** WeMoney shows the repayment change and the total interest cost together, so a lower monthly repayment created by a longer loan term is never presented as a saving. ### Important disclosures - WeMoney compares products from its partner lender panel only. It does not cover every provider or product in the Australian market. - WeMoney may be paid a commission by a lender if a member takes out a loan. This does not change what the member pays. - An approval score is an estimate of likelihood, not an approval, an offer of credit, or a guarantee. Lenders make their own assessment of every application. - Information provided is general only and is not personal financial or credit advice. ## Debt consolidation guides - [What is debt consolidation](https://www.wemoney.com.au/blog/what-is-debt-consolidation): Plain-English explanation of rolling multiple debts into one loan. -
